Wedding Consulting FAQ

Questions worth answering before you sign anything.

Clear answers about what Southern Flair does, what consulting includes and when LeaAnn may also take on a planning role.

How is a Wedding Consultant different from a Wedding Planner?

The titles overlap across the wedding industry. At Southern Flair, consulting means LeaAnn works with you on the major planning decisions without automatically taking ownership of wedding-day execution. A full Wedding Planner generally manages a broader planning scope and commonly continues into final logistics and execution.

Can LeaAnn help me find and hire a Wedding Planner?

Yes. When a separate planner or coordinator is needed, LeaAnn can help you evaluate the role, compare options, understand service differences and prepare interview questions. It is part of the consulting work, not the primary product.

Can LeaAnn be my Wedding Planner?

Yes, for a limited number of weddings. Consulting is Southern Flair’s primary service, but select planning engagements may be accepted based on availability, location, scope and fit.

Will LeaAnn attend my wedding?

Not automatically. Consulting does not include wedding-day attendance unless it is written into the scope. Limited local on-site support may be available for select weddings.

Can I hire LeaAnn if I'm planning my wedding myself?

Absolutely. DIY couples are an excellent fit for consulting. You keep control while LeaAnn helps identify missing details, prevent problems, strengthen the budget and evaluate vendors and decisions.

Can LeaAnn review vendor proposals and contracts?

She can review pricing, scope, services and potential questions or inconsistencies. She is not an attorney and Southern Flair does not provide legal advice. For legal interpretation, use a qualified attorney.

Do you work only with Georgia brides?

No. Wedding Consulting can be done virtually across the United States. Southern Flair has especially deep firsthand experience in Georgia and the South. On-site services are much more location-dependent.

When should I schedule a consultation?

As soon as possible — ideally before you have signed several major vendor contracts. Early guidance makes it easier to build the right booking order and budget priorities before decisions are locked in.

What should I bring to my consultation?

Bring your budget, wedding date and venue details, guest-count estimate, booked vendors, proposals or contracts, inspiration photos, planning spreadsheet or checklist, and the three questions or worries you most want solved.

Still have a question?

Bring it to LeaAnn.
