Bring the messy stuff.

Budget notes, vendor quotes, venue options, Pinterest boards, planning spreadsheets and the questions keeping you awake. It does not need to be organized before you come.

  • Budget and vendor reality check
  • Questions to ask before signing
  • Potential gaps and blind spots

Yes, LeaAnn may also be your Wedding Planner.

Southern Flair is consulting-first, but LeaAnn may accept a limited number of planning and on-site wedding engagements. Availability depends on the wedding's scope, location, calendar and overall fit. Wedding-day attendance is not automatically included in a consulting engagement unless it is specifically written into the scope.

Consultant vs. Planner

What's the difference between a Wedding Consultant and a Wedding Planner?

The wedding industry does not use these titles perfectly consistently, and the work can overlap. At Southern Flair, the distinction is about scope and execution.

As your Wedding Consultant, LeaAnn can work deeply inside the planning process: priorities, budget, vendors, venue questions, proposals, design, timelines, problem prevention and helping you choose the right Wedding Planner or coordinator if one is needed.

A Wedding Planner usually carries broader responsibility for managing the planning process and commonly continues into final logistics and wedding-day execution. A coordinator generally steps in later to execute a plan that has already been built.

The important question is not the title on someone's website. It is: What are they responsible for, when do they begin, and who owns the wedding day?

Wedding Consulting FAQ

Questions brides ask before they call.

How is a Wedding Consultant different from a Wedding Planner?

The titles overlap across the wedding industry. Southern Flair uses “Wedding Consultant” to mean LeaAnn works alongside you on the major planning decisions without automatically taking ownership of wedding-day execution. A full Wedding Planner typically manages a broader planning scope and often owns the final logistics and execution. Southern Flair can also take select planning engagements when availability and fit allow.

Can LeaAnn help me find and hire a Wedding Planner?

Yes. That is included when it is needed inside a Wedding Consulting engagement. LeaAnn can help you decide what level of planner or coordinator you need, evaluate options, compare services and prepare the questions that reveal how someone will actually work with your family and vendor team.

Can LeaAnn be my Wedding Planner?

Yes, for a limited number of weddings. Consulting is Southern Flair's primary service, but select Wedding Planning engagements may be accepted based on availability, location, scope and fit.

Will LeaAnn attend my wedding?

Not automatically. A consulting engagement does not include wedding-day attendance unless that is specifically part of the written scope. Limited local planning or on-site support may be available for select weddings.

Can I hire LeaAnn if I'm planning the wedding myself?

Absolutely — that is one of the best fits for consulting. You keep control of the planning while LeaAnn brings the experience to spot missing details, help prevent avoidable problems, evaluate vendors and find places where the plan or budget can be stronger.

Can LeaAnn review vendor proposals and contracts?

She can review pricing, scope, services, inconsistencies and potential questions to raise with the vendor. Southern Flair is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. For legal interpretation or high-stakes contract questions, use a qualified attorney.

Do you work only with Georgia brides?

No. Wedding Consulting can be done virtually with couples anywhere in the United States. Southern Flair's deepest firsthand venue and vendor experience is in Georgia and the South. On-site planning services are much more location-dependent.

When should I schedule a consultation?

As early as possible — ideally before signing several major vendor contracts. The earlier LeaAnn sees the whole picture, the easier it is to build the right booking order, budget priorities and planning roadmap before expensive decisions are locked in.

What should I bring to my consultation?

Bring your budget, date and venue information, estimated guest count, booked vendors, proposals or contracts, Pinterest board or inspiration photos, planning spreadsheet or checklist, and the three questions or concerns you most want solved. If it is messy, bring it anyway.
